Penn State fraternity brother attacked for wanting to help dying pledge

A Penn State fraternity brother who was present for what authorities have said was a night of heavy drinking that led to the death of a pledge revealed in an interview on Monday that he was thrown against a wall when he tried to help the teenager.

Kordel Davis appeared on Good Morning America, where he spoke with Robin Roberts about the night of alleged hazing rituals at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house which authorities believe led to the death of 19-year-old Timothy Piazza.

The former fraternity brother said that after learning Piazza had fallen approximately 15 feet down a flight of stairs in the early hours of February 3 following a night of heavy drinking, he went to check for a pulse and then implored those present that someone call paramedics. Read More…
