A looter was shot dead after he allegedly tried to steal a Florida state fire marshal’s vehicle.
According to witness, Landon Swett, the man yelled out that he was looting before he jumped in the patrol car.
‘[He] opened the door to the police officer’s SUV with the lights going. Got in it, shut the door,’ Swett told NBC 15.
Swett said he then saw the officer at the passenger side of the vehicle and heard a shot fired as he ran inside with his family.
