At least, that was the hope of Lancaster police when a witness attempted to draw a picture of a thief who stole cash from a shop in the town.

But visitors to the Facebook page of Lancaster, Pennsylvania police department thought cops were having a laugh and ended up mocking the image on social media. 

The posting of the sketch came after cops sought help in catching the man accused of stealing cash from a vendor at a nearby market.

The cartoon was drawn by a witness rather than a professional sketch artist and appeared to resemble more Waldo than a would-be thief. Read More…
