US Olympic swimming champion Ryan Lochte who was charged by Brazilian police for concocting a story alleging he was robbed at gunpoint during the Rio games this summer, has reportedly been offered a plea agreement by prosecutors.

As per the terms of the proposed deal, Lochte would have to pay a fine of just over $20,000 in exchange for dropping all criminal charges, according to the TMZ website.
