U.S. jails and no air conditioning

Some jails in the United States still do not have central air conditioning rising temperatures during the summer to ride up to nearly 106 degrees. Prisoners have resorted to sleeping on the cooler concrete ground risking getting bit by red fire ants. While many in the local communities of these jails and staff feel the conditions are fair and air conditioning is a luxury. Some prisoners are fighting back claiming the jail house temperatures are unconstitutional. read more here…
