Balloons Filled with Cocaine Found by Students

Two California students were hospitalized after a 13-year-old boy brought balloons filled with cocaine to his school on Friday.

A group of students discovered the two deflated balloons on the playground and played with them but raised alarm when they started to feel dizzy.

They alerted officials at Carl F. Smith Middle School in Terra Bella at 8:40am.

School officials thought it was flour but called the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office as a precaution. Narcotics officers said the powder tested positive for cocaine. READ MORE..
