Orange County Felony pretrial diversion (PTD) is administered by the Department of Corrections. Felony diversion is often called PTI which stands for pretrial intervention. PTI is a voluntary program that involves 100 hours of community service and an improvement class that relates to your criminal charge. This felony diversion program can last as little as one month as all charges will be dropped once all special conditions of the program are completed. There is no longer a minimum program time-frame.
